New page

==Zonet wifi adapter model: zew1505==
* Chipset: Realtek Semiconductor 802.11a/b/g rev. 20
* pciid: 10ec:8185
* Driver: net8185.inf, rtl8185.sys from the RTL8185/winxp2k folder http://www.zonetusa.com/download.aspx

==Info==
This wifi card works out of the box but the signal is EXTREMELY weak.
Installed on an IBM 2647-4mu with bios ver 1.20 and embedded
controller drivers pkg 1.06a on Ubuntu 9.10 with updates as
of 1-12-2010

Installed ndisgtk, ndiswrapper-utils-1.9, ndiswrapper-common.
After installing the driver in the ndisgtk gui, I got an
error "unable to see if hardware is present?", but it showed
up in the main dialog as Hardware present=yes.
Had to install gnome-network-administration to get rid of
the can't find network tool error.
Also, turning on IPv6 in the connection dialog causes
connection to not connect and asks for the wep key.
