* Chipset: Atheros
* usbid: 07d1:3a08
* Driver: User the Windows XP version from the disk provided with the adapter. The the file name is: netA5AGU.inf dated June 2007

==Info==
I was able to get the following working on my HP Pavilion 774Y using ndiswrapper on Ubuntu 9.10:

It worked without any problem using the GUI for ndiswrapper. I used Synaptic Package Manager to downloaded and install ndisgtk, ndiswrapper-utils-1.9 and ndiswrapper-common. I inserted the CD with the drivers that came with the adapter. Then went to System>Administration>Windows Wireless Drivers to open the ndiswrapper GUI. Next I selected the "Install new driver" a navigated to the CDROM previously inserted that contains the drivers. Selected the netA5AGU.inf file at the following path: setup/Drivers/Drivers/WinXP_2K/. The ndiswrapper GUI reported the installation was completed but that it could not see if the device is present. However when I dismissed that message dialog the Currently Installed Windows Drivers panel showed the neta5agu driver installed and the hardware as present. Within a flash Ubuntu's Network Manager was asking for my WPA & WPA2 password. After entering the password the handshake started and was locked on without any problem.
